Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 23 points in Milwaukee’s 103-89 win over the New York Knicks including two memorable ones in the dunk of the year so far.
The Greek freak received a lob pass and leapt high, plucked the ball with his right hand and soared over his opponent Tim Hardaway to score a breathless slam dunk.
“Khris was going, I knew he was going to throw me the lob. It was a bad pass by Khris but I was able to get up and go get the ball,” Antetokounmpo said. “I did not see Tim Hardaway under me. I just went up hard and tried to get the ball and dunk the ball.
“I haven’t looked at my phone but I know a lot of people are going to reach out and ask me about the dunk, what happened, how I feel about it, which one’s better — mine or Vince (Carter’s over Weis).
“But it was just a good play,” Antetokounmpo told reporters after the game.
